Duna started with a couch.
Specifically, with the number of people who end up sleeping on one. Not because of a fight — because of a noise. One person snores, the other stops sleeping, and after enough months somebody quietly starts going to bed in the living room. It happens in a lot of houses and almost nobody talks about it.
We didn't set out to fix snoring. We set out to fix the part of it that's actually fixable without a machine, a mouthguard, or a sleep clinic: a nose that isn't open enough.
What we're for
Not a cure. Not a miracle. A small silicone cone that holds your nasal passage open so the air moves quietly, for people whose snoring comes from a tight or blocked nose.
That's a real cause and a real fix. It's also not everybody's cause, and we say so on the product page instead of burying it — because a customer who buys the wrong thing isn't a customer, they're a refund and a bad night's sleep for both of us.
Why eight sizes
Because the most common reason these fail is that people get one size and it's the wrong one. Too small and it falls out at 2am. Too big and it aches by midnight. Four pairs in four diameters means you find yours instead of returning ours.
Where the name comes from
A dune is shaped by the same thing every night, in the same direction, until the shape holds. Nothing dramatic ever happens to it. That felt about right for something you use before bed.
How we ship
From a warehouse in the United States, not from overseas. It costs us more per order and it means yours shows up in about a week instead of a month.
